This mug was a success. A combination of hand carving and hand painting. Usually takes about 6 weeks from start to finish on a mug like this. The work and wait is definitely worth it.

Don't get too attached
My pottery teacher used to always say, "Don't get too attached to your pottery." So many things can happen during the process that it is dangerous to get your hopes up. Well, I'm attached to this pieces. A mixture of carving and glazing. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
